A college freshman struggles with his (humanized) emotions as he attempts to ask his new crush on a date.

In director Adam Smith's filmmaking debut, this budding comedy was selected for the tenth annual Fault Line Film Festival.

A Date with Anxiety was later re-cut and released in black and white, and "sequelled" in 2022 with After a Date with Anxiety bringing back all three main cast members.

Eventually Adam would like to adapt a form of this idea into a feature film, taking inspiration from the brilliant minds of Mike Myers and The Wayans Brothers.
